Our beloved small barn, a symbol of our collective agricultural heritage and a guardian of our community's dreams for healthy sustainable food, stood on the brink of collapse. This wasn't just about restoring a building; it was about reclaiming a vital part of our community's spirit.

The Schomberg Community Farm is a hub of community events like educational sessions, community bonfire, scarecrow contest, and produce and flower sales.
The barn is more than just an old structure; it's the beating heart of the Schomberg Community Farm. Its iconic red walls and grand grey roof that sheltered animals in its past now safeguards the tools and equipment that breathe life into our 49 garden plots, beehives, fruit orchard, berry patch, herb garden, and the beautiful native plant butterfly garden!
Without this barn, our ability to cultivate, grow, and share the beauty of nature with everyone — from eager young gardeners to those seeking a moment of tranquility amidst the blooms — would have been severely compromised.
We are so thankful for all of the people who donated and came to our events to save the barn. We have now raised the necessary funds and the barn looks wonderful thanks to the generous work of Angelo Santorelli and his team at Trisan, who made the necessary repairs!
